The electric guitar is as much a beautiful object as it is a powerful tool of expression. We take pride in being able to blend these two facets seamlessly. Working directly with musicians allows us to not only bring their ideas to life, but to address their specific needs on a case by case basis. The world of electric guitars is a realm of vast possibilities. Let us be your guide to exploring new options to help you create an instrument that is just as expressive as your music.
Nick started taking apart guitars at age 14 and has been at it ever since. While studying Sculpture at the Rhode Island School of Design, his love of art and musical instruments intersected leading him into the world of custom instruments. In 2008, Nick opened Holcomb Guitars and has worked with both venerated designers such as Ned Steinberger and musicians from many genres. See what he's up to these days on the Blog!
